Location
Sailing Facilities
We have good boat storage, with easy access and launching.
A safe sailing environment with good learning facilities.
Full racing programme from February to December, with
class, handicap and pursuit racing formats. Seven days
a week access to the premises, with members personal
club key. Lots of club boats are available to hire
Club Facilities
Burwain boasts a secure clubhouse with changing and
showers. Large wet room and galley. Smart lounge with
licensed bar. South facing balcony / viewing terrace
for those occasional sunny days in Lancashire
Boats Sailed
A wide variety of boats are sailed at the club, including
GP14, Laser, Solo, Asymetrics, Topper, Mirror, Mixed
handicap and the occasional windsurf!
RYA Affiliation
We are a fully affiliated club to the RYA, and are
an accredited RYA training centre. We introduce young
sailors to the sport through the RYA On Board scheme

Simply put, we believe its the best Club for miles
around! There is always well-organized sailing events
and an active social programme. We're cheap to join,
have no initial signing on fees and no complicated form
filling required. The club has a great mix of families,
single members, juniors and oldies and social members
and a rich sailing history
